New york what can i say????
satday nite- got there went to the hostel we were staying at to find they didnt recieve our confirmation email- we were homeless basicly!!!!
so yeah i was just like shazbot as it was me who booked it, we went to get some pizza n were going to go to a bar to stay there till 4am then wait sumwhere! we ended up meeting an irish couple who said theyd put us up for the night, so that was fab! their apartment was beautiful- next door to central park, liz hurley, sandra bullock lives there and keaneu reeves lives across the road!!!! so yeah thats how nice the appartment was!!!!
neways we got there and they took us up to the roof garden which was stunning the view was georgoues, they took us up to their private roof garden and there was a scene from the talented mr riply (the piano scene?) that was shot there so jude law, and matt damon was there!!!-- crazy!!!!
mary and tom were so lovely! mary even made us all bagels and coffee in the morning bless her!!!
neways we left and went to find a place to stay, we found sumwhere cheaper and nicer than the hostel we origionally "booked"
we dumped off the stuff and went to see the statue of liberty which was stunning! we saw ground zero, there was a really horrible atmosphere there, made u realise how lucky you are, we also had lunch in central park as mary packed us up some bagels (bless her!)
neways we went bk to hotel slept then went to times square-fookin amazing place let me tell you!!!! all i can say really!!!!
we took a bicycle ride which soo funny!! (the guy was kinda hot too!!!! hehe!)
today we just went shopping at madison square went to macy's!!!!
came back packed and now writing up this and i go on my trek tomorow-crazy shazbot!!!!
neways new york- amazing but scary!!!!
moving on to the trek....
departed from the hotel beacon at the illegal time of 7:30am
met everyone packed up stuff into bus and went on our way to the beautiful finger lakes region, we didnt really do much we set up camp when we got there went through where we were going, chilled around the camp fire!!! and our first night in the tent (interesting)
day 2- NIAGRA FALLS!!!
beautiful!!! must say i was slightly dissapointed when we got there it was kinda like is this it??? however you HAVE to go on the maids of the mist tour- beautiful! a bit wet but you do get a stunning poncho!!!
we spent a couple of hours there walking around taking pictures and then went on our way to set up camp, where the fun began!!!!
we played kings cup, 5 for jive baby!!!!
we all got a bit drunkered (oops  ) as our tour leader kinda sed that if sumone buys our alcohol-its all good!!!
we decided to go swimming in the lake near by so we all stripped to our underwear and went for a midnight swim!!!! (funny as!)
then onto day 3 which is today- Chicargo!!!
spent a day trying to get here, when we did we ditched bag chilled for a bit and thenwent for food and did bobby bike hike which was cool, spent about an hour and a half on cycling around the city which was fun!! (got a lot of honks! yay!  )
went to a place called dicks, paper fights!- fun!!!
today went up sears tower view was pretty damm good! tonight more drinks yay!!!!
neways stuff to do places to see!

well peeps, camp's computers havent let me on live journal until now so sorry about the delay in posts!!!!
camp's been really good fun, exhausting, exciting, emotional everything!!!!
getting up at 7:30am every morning, working through till 10 then you get a break- blah!!!
only 2 more days left-crazy!!!!
oh n jess my hair straighteners work yay!!!!!
vacation week was awesome- went to hampton beach in new hampshire with about 50 of us!!!!!
stayed in a motel, got drunk most nights and even had the police involved a number of times- oops
going to new york on satday camp gives everyone a ride aswell as lobster n steak dinner- yum!
this time nxt week im gonna be at niagra falls yay!!!!
its hard o give a detailed blog so when i get home ill upload sum piccys so you guys can have more of an idea what its like,
so whats the crac with everyone? whats the gossip???
also i havent been able to log into gap year aswell hense the lack of blogs- i do apologise :(

christ im excited!
so yeah tomorow do the whole family thing... then glasgow airport on wednesday at 8:30am
new york at 7pm :-)
